Wunderlist Applications
For the Student
1. For students in the Radiography curriculum, Wunderlist is a useful tool to manage radiography clinical competences and procedure totals set forth by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. 2. For students in the Magnetic Resonance curriculum, Wunderlist is a useful tool to manage magnetic resonance competences and procedure totals set forth by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Lists could be created according to exam categories. 3. For students in any ASRT curricula, Wunderlist can be used for its main purpose: to organize student tasks and time so that everything gets done. 4. For students in the B.S.R.S. Core, lists could be created related to research foci to ensure that related tasks are completed: literature review, concept mapping, sharing with research faculty, etc. Research related lists can be shared with instructor. 5. For students in the Magnetic Resonance Curriculum, lists can be created to make sure students go through entire requirements for sectional anatomy identification. See LIST. |
For the Educator
1. For educators in the Radiography curriculum, Wunderlist is a useful tool to manage clinical documentation receipt from students, including forms, procedure evaluations, and site evaluations. 2. For educators in the Magnetic Resonance curriculum, Wunderlist is a useful tool to manage clinical documentation receipt from students, including forms, procedure evaluations, site evaluations, and safety competencies. 3. For educators in any medical imaging program, Wunderlist can be used for its main purpose: to organize instructor tasks and time so that everything gets done. Instructors can create separate checklists for each course, related role, and/or professional organization. 4. For educators teaching in any curricula, Wunderlist can be used to support Venipuncture and Pharmacology objectives. Teachers can create lists for each students as they check-off on clinical tasks: patient history, allergy screening, prior surgeries, site preference, verification of ID by two means, hand washings, cleaning site for 30 seconds, tourniquet placement, etc. These lists can make practicums efficient. Lists can be printed for paper trail documentation and signed by observing faculty. 5. For instructors of Radiographic Pathology and Clinical Practice, Wunderlist can be used in a patient care activity and practice lab. As a lesson, the teacher could have small student groups create lists for patient encounters. Student technologists could simulate the encounter with a mock patient using their list. Then, they can reevaluate the original list to see if the order was intuitive or if additional steps need to be added. This activity helps new students really think about necessary steps for an encounter and creates good habits for future practice. |
