Example of iAnatomy
One example of iAnatomy is its use for medical terminology. Many med terms are based in Latin.
Examples:
When discussing kidneys, the Latin word part "ren" is used--as in renal cell carcinoma.
When discussing the liver, the Latin word part "hep" is used--as in hepatocellular carcinoma.
In the self-check menu of iAnatomy, you can click on muscles, bones, organs, and vasculature. The app has buttons on the top menu for English or Latin. You can click on an organ and check your knowledge of the English and Latin.
